Rosebud Rosetta Italian

Had an absolutely lovely meal here before the theater. The staff were all extremely attentive, and well aware of the constraints of theatregoers. We had a booth for just the two of us which for an evening dinner was quite surprising and very elegant. The food was fantastic, including pasta, fish, vegetables, and meat. The wine selection and list is extensive and allows you to pair with anything on the menu very well. Would definitely go back again.

Rosebud Rosetta is the definition of classic Italian done right. Came here for dinner and spent about 60 on the Chicken Vesuvio and a glass of red wine—worth every penny. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the garlic white wine sauce was unreal. Also had a side of the fried calamari, which was light, crispy, and came with a solid marinara. The vibe is cozy but upscale, perfect for a date night or a nice dinner out. Service was top-notch—attentive but not overbearing. Definitely a go-to spot for legit Italian in the Loop!

I came here when my other reservation came thru and I was a bit hesitant at first. The place definitely does most of their business during lunch for finance people I'd presume because it was not verybusy on a friday night.. But I was pleasantly surprised by good quality italian food. It's not the best I've ever had, but the bolognese was great, the parpadelle was indeed homemade. The buratta salad was nice quality. The dessert was just OK but I'm picky about canolli. The TV by the bar area seems a bit distracting and opposite of the classic Italian restaurant feel. Our server Elsa was attentive and on her toes but I never felt rushed. So give it a try. It pleasantly surprised me and maybe will surprise you.

I had no reservations when I walked in but with no hesitation the manager found us a table in less than 5 minutes! I mean there's no other place in the city that did that for us when we walked in. The food is amazing! Me and my Fiancee just couldn't get over the vibe that the restaurant has. Our waitress was also amazing and was very patient when we had questions about the menu even when it was a full house. I really recommend this place for any occasion and I will continue to dine at Rosebud everytime I I'm in the city! 10/10

We finally found a place with good Italian food in Chicago. The spring spaghetti was al dente, the veal Marsala excellent and the minestrone delicious. Congratulations to the team and especially to the chef

Love! Love! Love! The food! Definitely chef kisses ! They do offer valet parking. Considering that this place is very big (2 floors)...i didn't care that they placed us in the back by the kitchen...side eye; but our waiter was amazing! Very friendly and informative! Definitely would recommend! Family friend; but yet date night approved!

The service and food at Rosebud Rosetta Italian were outstanding. The manager, Mr. Gomez, and our server Jay, were so attentive, kind and thoughtful as were the supporting staff. They made us feel so special and we were so glad that we stopped in. We remarked that the only Cacio e Pepe that we have eaten that is as good as theirs was in Rome. This is a simple dish but so easy to get wrong; but Rosebud got it right! We started with a Caesar salad and, again, this is a relatively simple salad that so many restaurants get wrong. But here the flavor and the amount of dressing were perfect. And, as Jay said, this should always be completed with real anchovies on top. We also had the sea bass, which was also exceptional. It had a bit of crispiness that created a crust that separated this dish from many restaurants where it can very bland. Served with shrimp and spinach, it was the prefect balance of flavors. Our wines by the glass were also excellent, which is not always the case in many restaurants. Finally, we ended the delicious meal with a tiramisu and coffee. I’m not a huge fan of tiramisu, which can be boring and on the soggy side at many restaurants, so it a testament to the staff that this tiramisu stood out from the dozens we have had over many years. Even the coffee was exceptional, made to order, perfectly roasted and steaming hot, as I like it. We sat outdoors covered by trees and under one of the pretty umbrellas. It was a hot day but there was a bit of a breeze and I could have closed my eyes and felt we were on holiday in Rome having a lovely and leisurely lunch. It was a perfect meal with outstanding service. We highly recommend Rosebud Rosetta Italian for a great Italian experience.

Rosetta is always a good idea to eat the best steaks. My steak was prepared perfectly. Great asparagus, great service and the restaurant has its own unique atmosphere.
